Microsoft periodically retires exams and certifications to ensure their program remains relevant and reflects the latest skills and technologies.
Here’s what you need to know about the upcoming retirements:
Exams Scheduled to Retire on November 30, 2024:
MB-210: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Functional Consultant 1.
MB-220: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights (Journeys) Functional Consultant 1.
MB-260: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights (Data) Specialist 1.
If you’re currently preparing for any of these exams, I recommend taking them before the retirement date.
Afterward, you won’t be able to take these exams or earn the associated certifications.
However, if you’ve already earned a certification, it will remain on your transcript. For Microsoft Partners, certifications earned before retirement will continue to count toward Partner requirements for one year after the retirement date 1.
